The windmill park has a total of 10 2MW windmills. this excursion will be a three-hour boat trip out to the windmills. On the trip a guide will tell about the construction and operation of the windmills.
In Lund – Sweden, ESS – The European Spallation Source is currently being buildt. The facility, which is the world’s largest neutron spallation source should be up and running in 2023. We have contacted them for a tour of the unfinished facility. This would give you an unprecedented insight in how these large-scale experiments are being built. But because it is under construction we will not know if we can offer this until a year before the conference.
Should you need a day off, we can take a trip to Amager Beach park. This is a wonderful beach with a great wooden pier. From the beach you have a great view out to one of the windmill parks around Copenhagen.
